our skin inhales the essence of the clothes we wear. every kura terra piece is made from 100% cotton — grown, woven, and stitched in oaxaca — printed with medicinal plants used fresh or fermented. the botanical pigments don't just color the fabric. they become part of it.

gather

medicinal plants collected fresh from the land around oaxaca — eucalyptus, marigold, guava, avocado. some used fresh, others fermented for deeper pigment

prepare

100% oaxacan cotton — grown, woven, and stitched locally — is treated and prepared by hand to receive the botanical prints

steam

plants and fabric are bundled tightly and steamed at the perfect temperature — pigments transfer through heat, pressure, and time. 30 to 60 hours per piece

reveal

the bundle opens to show impressions no machine could create — the ghost of a leaf, the blush of a petal. the plants and the fabric have become one

kura terra is also a tea house. step inside, sit down, and let time dissolve. gongfu cha — the chinese art of preparing tea with skill and intention — is practiced here as a daily ceremony.

aged pu-erh, high-mountain oolong, wild white tea. each session is an invitation to pause, taste, and return to the body. the same attention that goes into each garment goes into each cup.
